Honestly I'm freaking out lmao. I had lost hope that SM would do a female version of SuperM - we all know how kpop companies care a lot more for men than wilen - so this is super surprising to me right now. I probably won't like the music but like I care about that to be honest XD

AND BOA IN THE CENTER! AS SHE SHOULD BE!!! I'm very curious to see how BoA will do in a group setting. Omg BoA, Hyoyeon & Seulgi getting a dance break, I'm gonna lose it!!! EDIT: Also Girls on Top??? I love the name, especially with BoA being involved!!!
Taeyeon omg ;__; She's slowly getting more into the idol side of promotions after taking a long break from it, as she promoted Weekend on music shows, but it's still pretty surprising to see her join. I guess the promos won't be too extensive. Also she's SM's most hyped female vocalist at the moment and one of the few Soshi members under SM still more into music than acting, with Hyo, and they're both here lol.
I wish f(x) were still active as a group :( Luna in this line-up would have killed it. But I'm even more glad that the members are out of SM so yeah...
Yeri is my bias so I would swap Wendy with her if I could (especially with BoA, Taeyeon, Seulgi, Winter being all solid vocalists in their own rights already) but that's just my bias and Wendy being here makes a lot of sense. Pre-scandal, I bet SM would have put Irene in but I guess they're still making her lay low, Yeri isn't the most popular member, and Joy is leaning more into acting anyway.
I would have loved for NingNing to be in the line-up but I understand SM pushing Karina and Winter instead, Karina is their hyped member and actually a good all-rounder, while Winter attracted fans to aespa and she's a good vocalist!
