I hope 2am doesn't get discouraged and continues to release music, even if it isn't frequent. Their album was nice, but like you said, ballads aren't for everyone. I kind of miss the old school ballad formulas. They just had a special element to them that gave extra feels a la fly to the sky's missing you.
