Japan Turns Pearl Aqua: SHINee's "The Best From Now On" tops Oricon Daily Chart

Five towers in Japan, Kobe Port Tower, Nagoya TV Tower, Tokyo Tower, Fukuoka Tower and Sapporo TV Tower, lit up on April 18 in SHINee's color pearl aqua to celebrate the release of their new album.

SHINee’s new Japanese best-of album has taken first place on Oricon’s daily album chart. Japan’s largest music statistic site Oricon has updated its charts for April 18, and “The Best From Now On” has topped the daily album chart. The best-of album has sold an estimated 62,630 units on its first day

The group released their album “The Best From Now On” on April 18, which includes the new song “From Now On,” featuring all five members. It also includes Japanese versions of SHINee’s greatest hits such as “Replay,” “Sherlock,” “Lucifer,” “Everybody,” and many more, as well as the group’s Japanese tracks such as “Your Number” and “Get the Treasure.” Previously unreleased tracks “Every Time” and “Tell Me Your Name” are included on the limited edition version of the physical release.

SHINee’s new Japanese best-of album is topping iTunes charts all across the globe!

Shortly after its release on April 18, SHINee’s new “The Best From Now On” album hit No. 1 on various iTunes Top Album Charts worldwide. As of 9 a.m. KST on April 19, the album had topped iTunes charts in 15 countries including Japan, Romania, Chile, Peru, Qatar, Thailand, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, the Philippines, and the United Arab Emirates.
