I'm not quite sure she pulls off the lyrical dance motif I feel they were going for but that's my only real complaint. This gives her voice somewhere to go and the journey/result is ALL the better for it! If not 'Second Chance' - the TRULY superior choice from this album - or Symphony (sing for me, la la la) or Love Recipe to be the title then why not this one instead?!
ailee has an amazing voice but find her to be to much at times with all the exaggerated movements and facial expressions. Subtlety is not her strong suit. There also a lack of progression in her music
this is much better. it reminded me of 'we belong together' by queen mimi at first lol. still, love recipe or second chance should've been the title songssss
The song is amazing and the video is pretty and crisp. Unfortunately, Ailee isn't the best at bodyrolls, and her model boyfriend isn't comfortable with embracing her, but meh. I'd rather a great song with a so-so video than the other way around.
I'm anticipating the lives. Mind Your Own Business was so much better live (apart from her sitting... like girl, you should have rested more...). Insane isn't my favourite song but I'm sure she'll slay it. I like what they went for with this MV, but couldn't the guy dance as well? I think it would have had a greater impact than just standing. Especially since Ailee isn't a dancer to begin with (she did good still)
Yes, So...I just recently started reviewing k-pop albums on my youtube channel. I like to give context to my reviews so I say what the group/artists has done, have they had a member/label change, etc.
I thought Ailee's album could be next. I'm working on writing my intro and had the same thought. I felt so bad because she can sing, but there's little progression.
Ask and you shall receive lol; now this is what I'm talking about. Not sure about the dancing especially since I was expecting a partner dance but the guy either just stood there or wandered about (props to Ailee for trying the lyrical hip-hop route nonetheless).
I finished writing/recording the audio for my Ailee review today, and I'm editing my Red Velvet review now. I only started a few months ago so it's be viewed by like 12 people so far hahah. Feel free to share any ideas on how to improve the channel or videos if you have them, thanks for checking it out! :D
i am glad I was not the only one feeling this way.their is a difference between finding your niche and being totally redundant and she has become the latter unfortunately.
